How does dough make money?

Restaurants pay Dough commission on orders placed at their restaurants.

Why can't i see all the restaurants?

Some restaurants only offer their discounts to certain large groups. If you would like to increase your restaurant options, please send an email to dough@doughpay.co

Why is the QR code not working?

QR codes are difficult to scan when there’s a glare or a shadow casted on them, but luckily you can scan them from any angle and from a far distance.

Counterintuitively, trying to scan it with your phone up close and directly over it is the worst way to do it because of the phones shadow and the QR code not fitting in the frame.

If it still doesn't work, double check to make sure you're at the correct restaurant. If the problem persists, send an email to our address below or call support at 920-368-4469.

Can I get something on the menu that’s not on Dough?

Some restaurants will not include menu items that they cannot discount, so if you want these meals you must pay full price to the restaurant using card or cash. If there is a specific menu item that you want on Dough, let us know by sending an email to dough@doughpay.co.

What is the Dough Credit Card Transaction Fee?

Your payment information is secured by Stripe and is not visible to us. Stripe is used by over 100,000 businesses and assures the safety of your most sensitive data. Stripe charges a fee of 2.9% + $0.30 on every transaction. If you add a card to use the pay-as-you-go feature, you'll be charged this fee with every meal you purchase. To save even more money, you can buy Dough points in bulk as the fee per dollar of Dough goes down with the more you buy. The savings are visualized on the graph.

Dough's discount is larger than the Stripe fee on meals, but if you're planning on continually buying smaller items (coffee, boba, etc.), you are better off buying points in bulk.

Points never expire and can be sent to other Dough users.
